Barre Fitness: Ballet-themed workouts are one of the top fitness trends today, popular for conditioning and toning results. First, we'll explore a range of exercises focusing specifically on abdominals, thighs, and glutes. Then we'll use the barre to balance while doing isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion lower body movements. Laura was certified by Barre Above® in July 2018. Barre Stretch: Let's stretch! Barre Stretch explores the softer side of a complete barre workout, focusing on targeted stretching and isolations to lengthen and tone. This class is perfect for those new to barre, or those who want to build strength through flexibility and balance, as well as improve posture. Barre Stretch incorporates a complete warm-up stretch series, basic ballet positions and exercises at the barre, and movements on the floor to develop lean and elongated muscles. Good Morning Barre: Wake up and take on your Friday! Good Morning Barre is a 45-minute targeted barre class, with a separate focus each session, including stretching sequences, ab workouts, ballet exercises, and cardio. Register early and let your voice be heard – early registrants have the opportunity to pick the focus of the morning! This online class makes it easy; roll out of bed, grab your mat, and give your morning the kick start you need! Laura was certified by Barre Above® in July 2018. BellyDance: It’s a bellydance party! Laura breaks down bellydance movements and technique designed for both fun and fitness. Conditioning exercises, beginning isolations, traveling moves and more will be part of this open level virtual class – no previous dance experience required! |
